Billy Moran

Los Angeles-based guitarist and songwriter Billy Moran blends folksy twang with hard rock edge, performing independently and with indie rock band Louden Swain. Comparable to Gary Clark Jr. and Nuno Bettencourt, Moran's gift is enhancing songs with Americana breadth and blues depth.

Inspired by Slash, Moran learned "Appetite for Destruction" by ear in one week. After playing in Connecticut bands and opening for Godsmack, he moved to LA in 2001, forming Lost In Mayberry before joining Louden Swain in 2006.

With Louden Swain, he's written and arranged songs including 'Carpool Lane' and 'Help You' (featured in "A Little Help"). He's collaborated with Briana Buckmaster, formed side project The Station Breaks with Rob Benedict and Jason Manns, and contributed guitar to albums by Richard Speight Jr., Michael Rosenbaum, and others.

Stream his album 'Surprise Party for The Introvert'.
