Listening to these wonderful women makes it feel as if I am watching supernatural right along with my own sisters, with the funny and inappropriate commentary might keep even the serious moments of the show engaging. And I always wonder what they might say next. Iraq, my youngest to sleep at night, and I have listened to every season at least six times now. Wow. alright, season. Immediately after Sam free Lucifer from Helm, he indeed become targets of both heaven and hell. They are threats because they are destined to be the respective vessels of Lucifer and the Archangel Michael, who will fight in a Dustin match to determine Earth's future. If Dean refuses, Michel Lucifer will destroy the human race with the four horsemen, the living embodiment of the four plagues, however, Sam saying yes to Lucifer will only speed up the devils plans. Additionally, Bobby is crippled and and wheelchair bound. Faced with no other choice, Sam and Dean teamed up with Castiel to look for a means to defeat both heaven and hell whilst battling angels, demons and even Ark angels, I should just stop it there. sums it up. Their journey pushes the Winchesters relationships to the breaking point as they both learn how they truly feel about each other and at points agree with Michael and Lucifer, both from distrust in each other and from not seeing any other choice. The boy's journey also leads to the deaths of many of their dear friends such as Ellen and Joe, while other old friends such as Anna side against them and the Four Horsemen continuing to bring the hell to earth as the brothers seem to think all hope is lost, even after some personal encounters with Lucifer and Michael themselves. Meanwhile, Castiel begins a mission to find God even going as far as to face the Archangel Raphael to find him, only to deduce from the angel Joshua, the angel who talks to God that God won't help.

brothers tried to kill Lucifer with a colt who regained it from a powerful Crossroads demon named Crowley, who is also the king of the crossroads and wants the boys to kill Lucifer. But they don't succeed. They boys eventually gain hope from the trickster, who is actually the Archangel Gabriel and who also after regaining his faith in humanity tells Sam and Dean that the rings of the Four Horsemen are the keys to loose first cage and that the brothers can trap Lucifer. So Sam, Dean Castile, Bobby and Crowley, who thankfully restores Bobby's legs all go after the rings, and after gaining them Sam willingly decides to let loose for I was gonna say perform. That's not right, possess him so he can take back control open the cage and fall in. And the season finale their plan falters and Lucifer fully possesses Sam while Michael meets him on the battlefield. As the brothers talk, Lucifer tries to convince Michael to have them both walk off the chessboard.

Vacation with Lucifer

So Dean after finding the battlefield with the help from Chuck the Prophet battlefield writes onto the field with the Impala in a desperate attempt to get through to Sam But Lucifer instead beats Dean to a pulp, and he explodes Castile and snaps Bobby's neck. But in the end, the Winchesters love proves more powerful than Lucifers rage. And Sam retakes control opens the cage door and falls in and bringing Lucifer Michael and Adam, all with him.

Hmm, interesting. A resurrected Castile who is now more powerful than before. Then heels Dean brings back Bobby and the trio part their separate ways. Castiel returns to heaven to possibly try and rule it. And Bobby resumes hunting Dean on Sam's insistence, goes to Lisa and retires from killing monsters and begins a new normal life away from hunting in the suburbs. But that same night that he goes to Lisa's, we see that there is a SAM standing outside of the house watching them. That's that.

Well today's episode is called Exile on Main Street. It's the season premiere for season six, and originally aired on September 24 2010. The episode picks up one year after the events that LA just described. Apparently, whenever Dean showed up at least his door she was just like, oh my god, move in.

Like I'm trying to think of what the door looked like, whenever, at the end of season five, when Dean showed up at Lisa's doorstep originally to be like, hey, like I'm about to go do something I know. You haven't heard from me. I haven't called you. I haven't talked to you. But I knew where you move to you moved into this new house. I feel like that house was not this house. So I think they moved again. Oh, so maybe he showed up on our doorstep. And she was like, we're moving. Yeah, we gotta move somewhere else. We're

And there was no dog Yes, not all gone, he still knows there's things out there. I wasn't too big of a fan of the Montage at the beginning. I appreciated that they did the different coloring so that we would know what was present and what was passed. Like they did pass. There's a montage of Dean living his suburban life, but cut in we would see things like, as a construction worker, he'd be using a table saw and it would cut to him using that table saw in I think it was Bloodlust when he chopped off that vampire said, so that would be black and white. Like the old stuff would be, it was just a little choppy for me. They they've done some beautiful montages and obvious episodes. Previously, this one was a little choppy.

It was but I kind of liked it that like these things that he's doing in this life now are still like probably in the back of his head while he's doing it. You know, like his old life. I kind of I mean, I liked what they were getting at, I guess.

Yeah, I appreciated the story they were telling because I agree with you that the black and white was like memories that were maybe back of mine, you know, it just just, it was just a little choppy to me. did like that. They caught us up very quickly on Dean, but I still did not get any. And this is this is something that I'm realizing I am like one of the only people who has this issue. I'm still getting absolutely no vibes as to what his relationship was with Lisa. Yeah, she's just kind of there truly is, you know, even that montage, she was hardly in it, even at this level.

Well, no, not quite well, true. We're not quite done yet. For now, speaking of Dean's best friends sit. So they're out at a bar. And they're chit chatting. And Sid is trying to get Dean to be vulnerable and tell him more about his past. And Dean kind of does. He kind of speaks in code about how he lived on the road. And he worked with a partner. They did jobs that other people wouldn't do. He called it pest control. liked it. Clever. I thought it was very clever as well. Sid is trying to get him to divulge a little bit more and I'll be honest, I thought Sid was going to be the bad guy.

He kept trying to because he just kept trying to get Dean to talk more and just he just kind of kept popping up. Right You know,

Whenever they are closing out their tab after having this weird catch up session, where they're not really catching up about anything. One of the waitresses comes over and lays down the check. She's got a lot of tattoos on her arm. Yes. And she like those tattoos are important. The tattoos are on her arm. And she like rubs her hand up Dean's for arm. Yeah. Okay. Did you ever do that? Whenever you were sir.

And he goes across the street to what we find out is a hotel renovation site. So he's walking around in there, and there's some like Wolverine claw marks, and he's hearing footsteps. And then there's a big bloody smeared handprint on the wall. And he's just like, oh, fuck, there's a pigeon in here. Know exactly what this is. Something's going down. So he goes back to his house, and he's googling away. And then he calls the cops and he's like, is there a missing person? Hotel renovation? I have a hunch. I used to be a cop. And Lisa comes in and he's just like, Yeah, okay. I'll talk to you later. Talk to you tomorrow. Bye. He hangs up and immediately lies to her. He was on the phone was said they were setting up a poker game for next weekend. I feel like she knew he was lying to her. Oh, yeah. You know, just the way she was making a face. She's like, it's 1130 at night. And he's like, Oh, that's probably while he was asleep. When I called the Silly me. I'm kind of mad at her for not calling him on it. Right.

No, she's been lonely, right? Oh, man. I feel real bad for Lisa. From what little we saw this episode. I feel real bad for Lisa. So anyways, Dean's thinking something shady is going on. But you know, he closed his laptop. Whoever that cop was that he was talking to on the other line, just as must have been like, Okay, that was weird. And just like call that a day. But he was suddenly like, Yeah, I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye. Thanks up, goes to bed. The next day, he's going into work. And he started seeing like the same Wolverine claw marks, like on a it was on a pole and they saw it on a house. They walked through, he jumps out and he goes to investigate and he sees it like on a sheet that's hanging out to dry. You just like what the fuck? And then he follows it over to a shed where there's marks on there. And he gets his gun out because he's carrying that on him now. And he's just like, oh, yeah, okay. And he kicks open the door. And there's a Yorkie just sitting in there. And the Yorkie runs out and I immediately looked at LA and went who locked that your key in there? Yeah, that's the real problem. It's never addressed. We never get an explanation as to who felt the need to lock a Yorkie in a shed. Not cool. Not cool. Well, after the Yorkie runs out, Sid just happens to be right there.

gossip. He immediately was just like, Hey, Lisa, your hubby just chased a Yorkie into his shed, which he didn't do and then tried to shoot the dorky with a gun he like things are weird things are going on. What

freaking crazy. And Lisa was like, I'm gonna go to a movie in the Cheesecake Factory but we'll get to there we're not there yet. Dana is still at the shed. That's where we are. A little bit yeah, so Yorkies right away SIDS run off to go tell everyone about the Yorkie incident and Dean looks down and it's like oh, fuck, sulfur. Hmm. I already is I'm kind of going okay, so there's claw marks. It's a demon doing it like what? Okay, this is weird because we know sulfur is demon. Right? Right, right. So dangerously. Oh shit. I gotta get to baby. So he runs home.

Hmm. Something needs huntin. And he's gone into this garage where baby is tarped which already I was like, Oh, poor. Oh, like it being neglected. So it pulls back the tart throws up in the trunk starts throwing things into a bag. And he's just throwing all kinds of things. Because again, claw marks Salford who knows who knows what's happening? That's when Lisa pops up in the door. It's just like, huh, hey, so everyone in the neighborhood is talking about you chasing a Yorkie with a gun. What is going on? And do you just like, oh, first hang on first when she pops in is like, hey, he immediately like stopped in the trunk and what and was like, Oh, I remember, this is what I was looking for. Like real nonchalant, right? Not at all shady. And even now she still doesn't call him out on it. Like she kind of does she kind of like, hey, sure. Are you sure something else that's going on? And he kind of lets her know, okay, I'm feeling a little paranoid. I think something's going on. And she's like, Are you hunting something? And he says, no, no, I'm not. I'm not I was just overreacting.

Which if this is like one of the only women he's actually like been honest with about what he did. You would think he would be fine. divulging this stuff to her.

And then the light starts flickering. And that's when I look to LA and I'm like, What the fuck? Okay, so we've got the light flickering. We've got the sulfur. We've got the claws. We've got the bloody handprint. We've got the pigeon. What is it? Which

I don't know if he was gonna tell her nothing. Because she had to come see come out. And the only reason she knew anything was up is because it said in his big mouth.

I know what I'm saying. Like after she left is when he went and got the trunk. Oh, okay. So I'm like, so he was just like, yeah, that's what I'm saying.

flickers, we're going What the fuck is he hunting? And then he turns around and fucking Azazel is there and we were just like, Oh, my God was yellow eyes do it. Yeah. And yellow eyes. It's just like, oh, so God, you know, Chuck brought back CAS new and improved. Why wouldn't he bring me back to and I was like, that doesn't track not really what is happening. And Azazel is just taunting him and getting all up in his face. And we are just freaking out. And then all of a sudden Sam shows up out of nowhere with a giant syringe full of what looks like milk of magnesia swipes through Azazel like Azazel disappears as Sam's hand comes down and he like Pulp Fiction, Pierce's Dean right in the chest with the milk of magnesia. And then it cuts to black. Yep. We were both like what? Just

But Dean key was fucked up. And we find out that he had been touched by a gin and was essentially in the midst of overdosing and dying. That's why he was like choking and like oh, it's not because Azazel was actually choking him. He had been hallucinating all of this stuff the whole time. Except for the Yorkie. No, yeah, because Sid also saw the Yorkie so the Yorkie was real, which means someone still stuck that Yorkie in that shot. Yeah, that's the problem that mystery. Dean wakes up and he's in this abandoned house somewhere. And Sam is just sitting there staring at him. And it is a weird fucking reunion.

So Sam tells Dean that literally he was in the cage for maybe a day and then he woke up sweaty and wet in the cemetery and soul cemetery, and he has no idea how he got out. That's a mystery. And then he said, I've been looking trust me. I've been looking, I searched for weeks. And Dana's like, Wait a minute. What did you just say to me? Sam says, yeah, like, I've been back for roughly a year. Dean does not happy. Pissed wouldn't be,

And say, I'm trying to tell him, you know, you had this great life, and I didn't want to come and ruin it. And Diems like, I wanted my fucking brother. Alive. Alive. Yeah. And that's whenever I kind of also was like, damn, like, really bad for Lisa right now. Like, don't wonder it seems so shallow. You're both just going through the motions. You're both stellar. You got playing house, you know, just playing house together. That's so sad, wasting each other's time. Sam goes on to explain to Dean that it was the jinn and the poisoning and all that other kind of stuff that I already touched on. And he says that they had actually come for him. I think he said the week before or a couple of weeks before. So that's how they knew that they were probably going to be coming for Dean and so he'd been keeping an eye on him. Dean asked Sam, you know, what have you been doing? And Sam's like? Well, I've been huntin. If Dean's like alone. He's like, No, like I have some people I've been hunting with. Dean says you with strangers in St. Louis. Well, they're more like family. So he walks them out and introduces them to three cousins. They're all Campbell's. When Christian and mark, and immediately we had flags going up like wait a minute, like Ruby told us a long time ago, like all the candles are dead. So who the fuck are these three people? And luckily, we weren't the only ones who thought that Dean was also very much like, Wait a minute. I thought they were all gone. Yeah, it's not answered. DSD. It's ignored. It's not addressed. No, no acknowledgement of that whatsoever. They're just like, no, like, these are your cousins. That's mark. He's such and such something removed like family reunion. No. Apparently not. Apparently, not. Everybody's gone. And I was just like a shady. And just when I thought it couldn't get shade here. They're like, okay, so Lisa and Ben are at Bobby's house. So we'll take we'll go to Lisa and Ben's house. I'm sorry, Dean, Lisa and Ben's house and use Dana Sam as bait. So they're all hanging out, getting their bags, their duffel bags in order that all have the antidote. in them. There's several syringes just all over the place. And as they're going through the house, they're like making fun of Dean, essentially making fun of him for having a magazine and a picture of his family. And then he has golf clubs. I mean, it turns out Dean just really embraced that suburban dad lifestyle. He was trying, he was trying real hard. And Dane is kind of getting his feelings hurt a little bit. We've seen him be able to look directly into their house a couple of times throughout the episode. And it said, and his wife and they are getting fucked up by a couple of Jen. Dean immediately grabs a couple of syringes and just takes off over to the house and Sam tries to stop them. Sam says like they're already dead. Just let it go. You can't help them. Dean says no. fucky when he runs over there, he does not get there in time. Sid and his wife are both dead. And then all of a sudden the to Jen or not to I guess one of them. Oh, yeah. No, the two Jen that are in the house. They grabbed dean. And it turns out it's Bridget the waitress up from the bar. She wasn't flirting with him. She was poisoning him which and then rubbing that arm. And she did have tattoos on her arm. So that let us know. And we're seeing now that the Djinn are like controlling whether or not they have tattoos.

Who also decided to abandon their post in the tree is back at Dean Lisa and Ben's house fighting Sam. And Sam is using golf clubs. Because that's what's handy there.

What is happening here was just weird. Out of the three gen two got killed, but one they kidnapped. Yeah. And Sam is who goes and save Steen. Correct The next day Dean is now changing his tune. He's like, okay, so I'm not going to break up with Lisa. I'm actually going to go back to Lisa and Ben, because they're in danger. Now I have to be worried that other monsters are going to come that I put them in danger by showing up on the doorstep. So now I just this is gonna be my obligation. Now I'm obligated to stay with them. Because,
