Berly:

Welcome to denim wrapped nightmares tipsy exchange Podcast where we explore the supernatural series episode by episode.

LA:

over drinks, we'll discuss the lore of gore and what we adore about the Winchesters and their adventures.

Berly:

I'm burly, and I'm a new fan of the series. I'm

LA:

LA, and I'm here along for the ride. Now, let's get tipsy. And lo la Hello, barely. The last episode was 99 problems. Sam and Dean were outnumbered by demons but were saved at the last minute by Rob and his town's people who were aware of the Apocalypse and they've been training to fight and kill demons. The small town is very religious, and Sam and D meet pastor Gideon who introduced them to his daughter Leah, whose thigh holster Yes, and they claim that she is a prophet. She tells the townspeople they have to obey her the angels orders if they want to sweat in heaven. But when she starts turning the people, towns people against each other, and the name of the Lord. The brothers realize they have to kill her. And they do. They go pimp on Babylon, and she was the whore or Babylon pimp of Babylon.

Berly:

Today's episode is titled point of no return the 18th episode of season five, and it originally aired on April 15 2010. This episode is significant as it is the 100th episode of this series. And I didn't spot this but the super wiki says that the number of the motel room in which Sam finds Dean at the very beginning his room number 100.

LA:

Thank you.

Berly:

Isn't that a nice touch? The episode has a wonderful opening in my opinion. We open up in a bar. There's a gentleman putting some coins into a jukebox. And he has his top buttons and done and his tie is kind of loosened. So we know he's not going back into the office. He goes and sits down at the bar starts taking a drink from his whiskey and looks at the man standing next sitting next to him and says Let me guess pink slip. The gentleman says that obvious, huh? And that pans out. And we see it's Zachariah, who's also sitting at a bar drinking alcohol was sweating meat suits, which surprises me but I guess what else is an angel going to do to go blow off steam? Yeah. Zachariah said that he wasn't able to get a yes to close the deal of the millennium. And he's talking about how the guys at the top, they only care about results, right? They aren't down here in the mud, nose to nose with you pig Filthy humans. And the other guy is like, Yeah, I hear you. Wait, filthy, filthy white. saccharide just continues to rant. And then we start to see a bright light, and the bar starts to shake. Michael the Archangel has a message. We of course, are in fact, pig Filthy humans. So we couldn't hear what Michael was saying. But Zachariah seemed very excited about the opportunity to get another chance at closing this deal. And said that, yes, he will do what he can. In the meantime, the bartender and the other gentleman, their eyes have been burned out. Because they looked up at Michael, they have died. And Zachariah just kind of slaps him on the shoulder. He's like, Yeah, getting out there. Let's go. He's like singing. What is the Saints Go marching on or something song as he goes marching out of the bar ready for his mission. And they go supernatural. Bah, bah, bah, bah. Then we cut to the aforementioned motel where Diem is in room 100. So after he took off and left Lisa, who I'm sure was very confused about everything. As to like what it was she was probably just like, What the hell? Yeah.

LA:

I mean, I know Ben like is the answer.

Berly:

Like even knowing what he does for a living knowing that he hunts monsters and demons and ghosts and everything. I still I would have had so many questions. If I were, I would have been so disappointed that he wasn't just showing up for a booty call. Like what the hell is happening? But anyway, Dean has left Lisa he's gone to a motel. And he is packing up his prized possessions. his leather jacket, the keys to baby. His ivory handled gun is all going in a box and he's addressing it to Robert singer. We hear somebody say sending someone a candy grim. It Sam, he managed to track down his brother. Dean asked him How'd you find me and he says, wasn't that hard? Like I know that you're basically going on a suicide mission. So figuring out your goodbye tour.

LA:

We will can't talk

Berly:

to or farewell tour? wasn't difficult to do. How's Lisa doing anyways? And I'm like, wait. I mean, the Lisa thing came out of nowhere to me, but I guess not. Maybe I just haven't picked up on stuff that had been like I picked up on him saying recently that like something again about you ever think about settling down and starting a family but I never connected the dots back to oh, he's in love with Lisa. Anyhow, Sam is very disappointed in Dean and Dean Schultz That all Sam's ever done is run away. You know, how dare you criticize me? Whenever that's all you've ever done. And say I'm points out that every time he's done it, he was wrong. He's asking Jane to please reconsider. If Bobby's working on something and Dean has no faith. He's like, Oh, really? What is that? You have nothing. And Sam says, Well, I'm gonna have to stop you. Dean is still being very petty. And I agree with him. He says, Well, you're not hopped up on demon blood this time. How are you going to stop me? What are you going to do? Yeah, Sam just politely says Well, I brought help. And Castile appears behind Dean, two fingers took them to Bobby's Dean is not happy. He is pitching that if he could save a shitload of people by saying yes to Michael then why shouldn't he? And Bobby points out because you're not going to save all of them. You're not going to just give up? Oh, he says, You can't just give up son. And Dean goes, You are not my father. Oh, I miss the know. His face like Jim Beaver. He just his face just dropped. He was devastated when Dean said this. And Sam just looks at Dean is just shaking his head like too far. Yeah, too far, man. And you can tell Dean feels a little bit bad. But you get distracted by the next thing. We're Bobby randomly pulls out a gun and slaps it on the desk, and then pulls a bullet out of his pocket. Dana sweats that and Bobby says, this is the round I've been planning to put through my own school. Every morning I wake up and I look at it. And I asked myself if today's the day but I don't do it. Because I made a promise to you. Angrily yells this was gonna say he didn't love the way he said it. It was like I just yeah, like I've never heard Bobby's voice like that. He was not fucking playing around anymore. It's very awkward and silent in the room until Castile keels over grabbing his head, and we hear the high pitched ringing that we hear with angels. They asked What's wrong, and Casio says something's happening. Dean says where but cast just like whoosh, disappears. We see Cassiel touchdown, somewhere in the middle of like the woods or something. Yeah. And then you start to see that trees are like bent over just like they were at Dean's grave site at the season premiere for season four. You see this mound of dirt moving around in the center of this circle. But before Casio has a chance to investigate it further. He senses something. It's more angels. And we have a battle of the holy tax accountants as they are in suits

LA:

and glass. I know it's like they look like like

Berly:

Angel assassins, little businessmen. Why are these angels always so professional? Like as the first thing they do when they get their vessel like okay, now time to dress up. Suit up. Unless you're Anna. She was like, Oh, she was like jeans cleavage. I'm out. After a tussle. Cassiel defeats both angels. And he steals their angel blades. Yeah. So Sam and Dean each have little angel blades. Now. That was convenient. And then he goes back to the mound of dirt and a hand comes out. He grabs the hand and just pulls this body out of the ground. But we don't really get to see who it is. He whooshes back to Bobby's and throws down Adams body on the little day bed in front of that window and Bobby's office. I did think it was funny. Right before this happened. Dean goes walking into the kitchen. And Sam's in the kitchen leaned up against the fridge reading a book. He's like, Can I get a beer please? Why was Sam just hanging out in the kitchen leaned up against the fridge reading I don't know. I guess he was good. Maybe line of sight to keep an eye on Dean from there probably near the doors and stuff. So Bobby comes in as like who the fuck is that? And Dean and Sam, look at him and go, it's our brother. So Adam has been resurrected. And at first I was a little confused because he didn't know who they were. I mean, he knew who they were but because the angels told him and everything. But then I remembered when we saw Adam last. It wasn't Adam. It was a cool. So this is Adams first time meeting Sam and Dean, right? He lets them know that he's been told he is the vessel of Michael. He's like, where's Zacharia? And they're just like, okay, you know what? We're going to talk to you. We're going to tell you this stuff. But first, you need to go take a shower because you're fucking filthy. And let us give you a haircut real quick.

LA:

He did look a lot better.

Berly:

He definitely got his haircut. Oh yeah. I guess I shouldn't blame Adam on what the ghoul chose to do with his hair. Adam tells them that he remembers the monster attacking him and eating him. And he also remembers His heaven. He said it was like his prom and he got to make out with a girl named Kristen McGee, which Jean asked, you know, did you get to third base? Because of course he did. Adam says that some angels popped out out of nowhere and told him that he has been chosen to save the world. And you know, time to go get that body back on. Let's go do some devil fighting. Dean asks, you know, how was he supposed to to that? And Adam says, I don't know, like me and some Archangel. They're like, which one? He said, Michael. I'm his sword or vessel or whatever. I don't know. Dean is very confused. And honestly, I think his feelings were a little hurt.

LA:

Oh, I'm

Berly:

sure you know, that

LA:

hurt. He's like, Wait a minute. I was.

Berly:

I'm the chosen one. What is happening? I don't understand it. But Cassiel is like I mean, it could work. Adam is the son of John Winchester. So he has the right bloodline, and he's technically Sam's brother. So maybe they've moved on from you, Dean. Maybe they gave up on you. And this is Plan B. Yep. Dean is just like, what? I don't understand blow me casts. I don't remember why he said it. But he did know that much. Oh, also, it is important to note that after Cassiel through Adam down on the bed, he put his hand on him. Oh, yeah. He branded Adams. Yeah, he marked him as so he's got all the Winchesters marked, they are all property of Castile. Even this one he just met. Adam is just like, This is great. And all but you guys are not my family. My family was my mom. She's the only one I care about. And if I do what these angels want me to do, I get to see her again. So I'm gonna go, but it becomes very clear to him that like he's not allowed to go. They make it seem like you know, if you cared about John at all, like if you care about anything, just give us a little bit more time. Give us a little more time to convince you one of the times that Sam blocks Adam, and it's like, were you Oh, you did and I was like, Oh, I'm going to get a beer. He's like, Oh, great. We've got beer here Come sit down. And and Adam like is like I'm on lockdown. Like it's clear. I can't go anywhere. It was during this scene that I was just like he really does kind of look like a mini Dean like closely enough that I could believe they're related and the sassiness and all of that Sam even said you know you'd fit right in just FYI. So I appreciated that scene. I was I was starting to see the similarities and Jake Abel played the role really well like we're actually getting to know Adam now and that's that's pretty cool. What did he say whenever he was like, oh, you know whenever we when what are we going to do? Hop in the family truckster and head out to Walley world it was just like this such a Winchester things to say. We cut to Dean who has been locked in Bobby's panic room because they don't trust him to not try to sneak away to go say yes to Michael again. Sam comes down there to talk to him. And Cassiel is eyeing Dean from outside the panic room. Cassiel is pissed. Oh, yeah. He is incredibly disappointed in Dean right now. So Dean feels the need to say, Cass last time somebody looked at me like that. I got laid. Then he adds like a wink to it. So Sam is just like Cass um, I can't take this sexual tension right now. So why don't you go back upstairs and keep an eye on Adam. So Cass gives the intense glare and then slams the panic room door and flutters away. Dean is insistent I am not letting take it not letting Adam take the bullet for me. Like he's not going to be Michael's vessel, as Sam is just like, Yeah, I agree. Like we're not going to let him do it but you're not fucking doing it either.

LA:

Densmore, like, he's not special. I'm special. Let's not forget that. Okay, I was the first I am

Berly:

the roadmap. I'm the Rhoda. Dean is just like, I mean, we can't let more people die for us. We've already had so many people die for us. Mom, dad, Jo. Ellen. Just ash. That werewolf chick. You know? Should should I go on? It's a really fucking long list. Okay. It's 100 episodes. I'm pretty sure somebody has died for Sam and Dean every episode Pamela like, Yes, probably like 100 people, but Adam will not be added to that list. Okay, not Adam. This is where we draw the line. Sam is like, I mean, we didn't directly cause their death. Dean says

LA:

Symantec we may

Berly:

as well have and he says he is body and soul tired of fighting. You know, this is his destiny. He is the Highlander. He is the one special that Sam is just like no quit trying to sacrifice yourself. We'll just stick together and keep fighting. You and me against the world, bro. We're Ember Dean is just like, You know what, I don't know whether it's going to be demon blood, or another demon chick. All I know is that one way or another, they're going to find a way to turn you. So this isn't really about me giving up. This is about the fact that I know you, Sam will eventually give in just gaslighting his brother, for sure. For sure. It was so fucked up. Yeah. Like, I know, you're gonna say yes. And so that means you're going to be Lucifer, which means somebody has to be around to take you out. And I'm the only one who could do it. Because I'm the Rhoda. It's all about me. Sam is obviously hurt by this. So he's like, so you're saying I'm not strong enough to say no, I'm not strong enough to stand up to Lucifer. And Dean says, You're angry and self righteous. Lucifer is going to wear you to the prom, man. It's just a matter of time. I know. You're just a weak little bitch. Why

LA:

didn't you just say that

Berly:

are a little baby Sammy. He is so teary eyed and so disappointed. We get our teary puppy eyes quite a bit in this episode. Like what? What can you say to that? Well, yeah, Dane just ripped his fucking heart out. So of course he leaves and goes back upstairs to where Bobby and Cass are watching Adam. Bobby asks, you know, how's he doing? Sam is still very teary eyed and just kind of shrugs but you know, he doesn't say anything with that. Castile decides. Alright, I'm gonna go back and talk to his house now. He's hit on me like three times today?

LA:

Well, didn't you make a noise like to to get their attention? Let's see what we can do. I

Berly:

maybe maybe I know when Casio was walking down the stairs. There was definitely noises going on. I didn't catch it. If it happened beforehand, though. So Casio gets down there. It was like Dean, what are you doing? You looked in the little people, and there's just shit everywhere. And I was already yelling like, it's a trap. He's not trying to get you to come in there and blow him for real Castile Stop. Don't go in there. But Castile did not hear me through the television. And he opened the door and went in to see where Dean was and what was going on. And Dean had drawn the angel banishing sigil. So it wasn't Dean who got blown. It was Cass. Right? blown out of panic room. Dean gets a jacket. He's very selective about which jacket he takes. And then he goes off through the cellar doors and disappears into the night. We get to Sam obviously figuring out you know, cast got blown, Dean escaped. And Bobby is watching Adam who is sleeping and we see his eyes moving around behind his eyelids, which I thought was a nice touch to kind of let us know that he was dreaming. He is sitting at a playground these angels and playgrounds. And Zachariah appears it is like your mom's not coming. I'm aware. This is special. And you're expecting her to show up but she's not coming. Not yet. Also in the dream, Zachariah is like, I can't find you. So let me guess you're with Sam and Dean. So Zacharias figured out that Cass has marked Adam and I got my wish, like Zachariah was very menacing in this episode. Yeah, it was. So I was happy. We got a little bit more of that. He's talking to Adam. Don't listen to Sam and Dean and Adams like, I don't know. They told me some shit about you too, man. And he's just like, No, don't listen to them. They are psychotically irrationally, erotically codependent on each other. I was like, what? That's fuckin weird. Zachariah emphasizes to Adam, that they don't care about you. Like whenever it comes down to it, they're gonna save each other and they're not going to give a shit about you. So you shouldn't give a shit about them like they are not your family. Do you want to see your mom again or not? And Adam wakes up. We cut to a street preacher who's got like an apocalypse sign and is near and is yelling at people. Dean goes walking up to him because we already know that those are Zacharias people. And Dean tells the guy Hey, I'm Jean Winchester, and the guy is just like, Oh my God. James, like, okay, so you know who I am? Why don't you pray to your buddies. So the preacher immediately drops to his knees in front of Dean. And then we hear a deep gruff voice go. You pray too loudly. He gets knocked unconscious, two fingers, he gets fingered, and he's out. It's Cassiel and he grabs Dean, and like throws him into an alley and is beating his ass and he is hissed. He is throwing him up against the wall saying I rebelled for this so that you could surrender to them. And between blows. Dean is just like, please, please cuss. Cassiel says, I gave you everything. And this is what you give me. He's kicking and punching Dean is just like, really baking the shit out of him. And then Dean's like, Just do it. Give it to me to it, but cast stops and then he just fingers them instead, and then throws them on his shoulder and takes them back to Bobby's back Bobby's Sam is pissed because Adam has gotten away with Cass reappears and as like the angels took him. They figured out Adam must have tipped him off. Somehow he must have like looked at Bobby's mail or something. Maybe he seems like he's probably kind of smart. Bobby and Sam are both like, Oh, what the fuck happened to him? Because Castiel is carrying Dean and Cass just answers me. Next, they're trying to think, okay, where would they have taken Adam, and we cut to the white room that we saw in Lucifer rising where Zachariah and Castile were originally holding Dean hostage. And Adam is going to town on those burgers. They're like, they're, I think there was two crumpled up wrappers and he was going into a third, which I do think it's interesting. I don't remember Dean ever eating the burgers whenever

LA:

he was hostage, remember?

Berly:

So it's interesting that he's believing everything that angels are telling him and everything and chowing on those burgers and stuff. Zachariah is there. And it's just like, oh, yeah, great. You have the same wonderful culinary palette as your brothers. Adam is like, okay, so what are we going to do? What where's Michael? How are you gonna do this? Zachariah is just like, oh, I mean, we don't really need you to do anything anymore. Adam is very confused at first, but Zachariah goes ahead and clarifies like, you're not the chosen one. Your half brother is and we're using you as bait because the only thing the Winchesters care about is family, like that's their weakness. So they're gonna come here to try and save you. So you just need to sit tight. Adam is just like you son of a bitch. Zachary has like, hey, how do you think I feel? I'm the one who has to put up with that dumb slack jawed look on your face. It's so mean. But he's just like, you know, we didn't have a choice, man. Like, it's not personal that you're asked being here is gonna get Dean exactly where we want him. Adam tries to leave. He tries to be like, I'm not going to let you do this. But Zachariah is like, no, no, no, like, you're still going to get what you want. You'll still get to see your mom when all of this is over. So Adams just like fuck, like, I don't know what to do. Like he's stuck here. He's being held captive in a different place. Now, Dean comes to and he's been handcuffed to the cot in the panic room. Sam is sitting there nearby. Dean says Bucha like just gruffly and like, oh, Word to the wise. Don't piss off the nerd angels. Sam tells Dean Yeah, so we have a new situation going on here. We got you back. But we lost Adam. The angels took him and we're pretty sure he's in the White Room. So let's go get our brother. Dan is just like okay, like, you know, this is probably a trap. This rescue attempt. What did they say? Pretty much a no shot in hell, hell marry kind of thing. Bobby and Cass both opted against it. But Sam on Kufstein is like no, like, he's coming with me. We're all going to do it. Dean then chimes in and says, you know, fair warning, like, I'm still gonna say yes. I'm still planning to be Michael's vessel. But Sam was like, No, you won't. When push comes to shove, I know you're going to make the right call. And Dean reminds him that if the tables returned, he would not have that same faith in SAM. But Sam says maybe he's not smart. But he does have that faith in Dean because he's still his big brother. No. Oh, so Cass zaps the boys to the White Room, which is outside an abandoned factory in Van Nuys, California. And Dean is just completely flabbergasted by this cast explains to them that there are at least five angels inside and that he's going to go in and take them out. And as he's doing this, he's undoing his tie, and he pulls out a box cutter. What ended up happening was Cass had carved the angel banishing symbol into his chest. So he goes in and kind of laurs All the angels around him, there is one that he kills with an angel blade. So he's left there, his angel blade on the ground and everything, caskets, the other angels to kind of surround him. And then he rips open his shirt and slaps his hand on his chest, and it vanishes all the angels, including casts. So I guess that since the sigil was on him, that made him get banished away too. Because when cast has used the angel banishing symbol in the past, or when Anna's used it, like the angel who hid their hand stayed, right. Yeah,

LA:

like confused me a little bit, too.

Berly:

Yeah. But I guess since it was actually on his body. Maybe that's why he disappeared to know Sam and Dean was the coast is clear. Actually. First we just see Dean come in once the coast is clear. And he sneaks in to the white room and he finds Adam, but Adam is already hemorrhaging like Zach Zachariah. has already been torturing Adam just because he doesn't like how he looks apparently did not like his face. Dan gets in there to save him. And Zachariah appears of course flick Dean, please. Did you really think it was going to be that easy? And Dean says, Did you and Sam sneaks up behind Zachariah. He's got an angel blade. He tries to attack him, but Zach just flings him across the room. He's just like, Okay, this is ridiculous. Your brothers are hemorrhaging. If you want to help them, then you just you need to say yes. Otherwise, like this is just this is going to be it and Danish sleep. Please stop them. Please stop hurting them. Soccer is like in exchange for what? Why am I going to stop hurting them? Do you says okay, fine. Yes, I'll do it. Call Michael down here. I'll say yes, right now. So Zachariah is like, God. He says something in a Nokian. He's very happy with himself. But then after he's already called Michael Dean says, I have some conditions. Does that hurt? I was like, Okay, what, what do you want, like, whatever you want? It's fine. He's like, I have some people. You need to make sure they're safe. Zagros like, that's fine. I don't care. Make a list. And then he says, also, Michael has to incinerate you before I say yes. Yeah. So he's just like white, but he's not going to hurt me and seen as like, ah, who do you think's more important to him at this point, you are me. Docker was like, Do you know what he's gonna think of me now that I've delivered you to him? And Dean said, yeah, that you're expendable. Like, oh, Zachariah is not happy. So he is getting all in Dean space. And he says, Michael isn't gonna fucking kill me. And dingoes, maybe not, but I am and pulls an angel blade out and stab Zacharia right into the angel sweet spot at the base of the throat. I will say when Cass was killing angels earlier in the episode, he was not hitting the sweet spot, but it still worked. So I guess it doesn't have to be at the base of this road. Yeah. So the room is vibrating. The lights are coming in. Things are shaking. Michael is calming. And Dean is trying so hard to get Adam and Sam out of there. So he goes to Adam first because he's closest. And he asks Adam, can you walk? And Adam says yes. So he helps Adam stand. But Adams just like staring up at Michael coming down. So he wastes precious seconds looking around. Dean runs over and help Sam Sam needs more help walking. And because those few seconds that Adam lingered. He does not get out of the door in time. Only Sam and Dean get out the door slam shut. Dean sets down Sam. He immediately turns around and tries to get back in the door. But it's so hot. It's burning his hand. He can't kick it in. He's yelling Adams yelling please help him. Dean is yelling, I'm coming. I'm trying. And then the light goes away and it's silent. Dean opens the door and it's no longer the White Room. It's just this empty office looking space where everything's all dirty and messed up. And Adams just straight up gone. We see Sam and Dean and the Impala driving away talking about Adam talking about casts and being like, I mean, I doubt either one of them. Okay, but we'll find them. We're gonna find them both where there's a will there's a way. We're good. We're good. It's still good. It's still good. And Sam says, you know, I saw it in your eyes. You were on board. You weren't going to say yes. So what the fuck changed your mind because he's right. Like you could see it in Dean's face. And then he was staring at Sam and his face changed. And then he winked at Sam. Yeah, right before he started being like hold conditions and all that other stuff. And Dean says, honestly, it was the damnedest thing. I mean, the world is ending. The walls are coming down on us. I look over at you. And all I could think about was that stupid son of a bitch brought me here. I just didn't want to let you down. Yeah, loll and Sam lets him know that he's glad he didn't. Dean says I'm sorry. And I guess it's a big brother thing. But I've just always seen you as a snot nosed kid. That's not you anymore. And if you're grown up enough to have faith in me, the least I can do is return the favor. And that's essentially the end of the episode. It was written by Jeremy Carver and directed by Phil Sunraysia. Gore. There's a lot of fake blood coming out of Adam and Sam's mouse. Yeah. And that's the only gory thing I can really think of. I mean, Cassie yells chess, we barely got to look at that. So I can't even comment on if it was that gory. So not a gory episode. No, I did enjoy this episode. It definitely felt like the episode before a season finale though. What else is gonna happen? My God. Zachariah is dead. Oh, I guess I have to fight Michael now. Yeah, I guess Lucifer still running around. Oh, we still have two more horsemen. Yeah, lots there's a lot going on still. Yeah. But this was a big episode. I did adore it. I kind of already said it I adored We got to see a little bit more menacing Zachariah. Yeah. Before he was taken out. And I adored Jake April's performance as Adam. I thought he did a good job. They did a good job with making him look and act Winchester free without it being too similar. But just similar enough, in my opinion. Yeah. What about you? What did you adore? I

LA:

like seeing him again. Yeah, that was good. haircut and kind of like also like, let's get there already. Like, is he or not like Mike was Michael coming down? Like what's happened? I'm glad we're finally like, at a point moving forward. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. It's just been like so much back and forth. And like, finally,

I mean, like I said, it did seem it seems stretched a little bit, right. Yeah. Like we got our first horseman and the second episode of the season, and we didn't get our second horseman until like, a couple episodes ago. They did like 10 episodes. We made it like past the midpoint of the season before we got our second horseman. And I totally thought that was going to be the overarching theme of this season was the horsemen, but they didn't really spread them out. Right. It was like we got one and then nothing. And then we got another one. And now I'm sitting here wondering like, are we going to get the other two this season? Or are the other two are going to stretch into next season? It just seems like they could have spread them out a little bit. They did the same thing with the demon children. Yeah. Back in season two, I felt like those could have been spread out a little bit more. We could have met more of them throughout the season. Yeah. Rather than just one, two. And then oh, here's all these other ones. So yeah, but I still enjoyed the episode. Yeah. We'll take us into lore LA. Okay.

LA:

Well, let me tell you about a little, a little person named Sacco right. According to the Gospel of Luke, during the reign of King Herod, there was a priest named Zachariah of the corpse of Abia, whose wife Elizabeth was also of the priestly family, Aaron. The evangelists states that both the parents were righteous before God since they were blameless and observing the commandments and ordinances of the Lord. When the events related in Luke began, their marriage was still childless because Elizabeth was barren. And they were both well advanced in years. Huh, I like that well advanced. Yes. The duties at the temple in Jerusalem alternated between each of the family lines that are descended from those appointed by King David. Luke states that during the week when it was the duty of Zacharias family line to serve at the temple of the Lord, the lot of performing the instance offering had fallen to Zachariah. The Gospel of Luke states that while Zachariah ministered at the altar of incense and Angel of the Lord appeared and announced to him that his wife would give birth to a son whom he was to named John, and that the this son would be the forerunner of the Lord. citing their advanced age again, Zachariah asked with disbelief for a sign whereby he would know that the truth of the prophecy and reply the angel identified himself as Gabriel sent a spear No,

does he just go around making everybody pregnant? Okay, yeah, his gig.

LA:

Game really was sent especially by God to make this announcement and added that because of Zacharias doubt, he would be struck dumb, and not able to speak until the day that these things shall be performed. So consequently, when he went out to the waiting worshipers on the temples, outer courts Zechariah was unable to speak the customary blessing over you want to sign I'll give you a

sign. That does sound like Gabriel.

LA:

After returning to his house, and he brought he brought Hebron, Hebron, don't we have a Hebron here? I don't know. I think we do. In the hill country of Judah, his wife Elizabeth conceived. After Elizabeth completed her fifth month of pregnancy her relative Mary was visited by the same angel Gabriel. Oh, while still aversion, Gabriel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son and you are to call him Jesus. How will you be Mary asked the angels. Don't

Berly:

ask him a question girl. Learn from Zachariah. She's asked, he's gonna be like, How dare you question me? You are now deaf, dumb and blind?

LA:

No, she says, How will this be since I am a virgin? The angel answered The Holy Spirit will come on you. Okay, sure. I read this. Okay, let me start that over. The Holy Spirit will come on you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the only one to be born will be called the Son of God. Joseph to whom Mary was Botros was like who came on You found out that she was pregnant was that first perplexed at the obviously disturbing news? Because he was faithful to the law and yet did not want to expose her to the public disgrace he had in mind to divorce her quietly Oh, but after he had considered this an angel of the Lord, these angels are just coming to everybody

Berly:

not Gabrielle this time, though is no, but there's no one for him to get pregnant. So it was not Gabriel this

LA:

time. But yeah, after he considered this, the angels Lord appeared to him in a dream and said Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife. because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. Not yours, bro. Not yours. Holy Spirit came on her show. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus because he will save his people from the sins their sins. When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded and took Mary home as his wife. Now Elizabeth gave birth and on the eighth day when their son was to be circumcised according to the commandment, her neighbors and relatives assumed that he was to be named after his father. Elizabeth, however, insisted that his name was to be John. So the family then questioned her husband. As soon as Zachariah had written on, written on a writing table, his name is John. He regained the power of his speech and blessed the Lord God of Israel with a prophecy known as the Benedictus, or song of Zachariah. When we know what happened to Mary Ryan, I don't really need to get into that.

Berly:

Elizabeth was just like, man, like I'm old, you're a virgin. We're both popping out babies at the same time. This is crazy. Mary was like the Holy Spirit came on me and Elizabeth was just like, Oh, my was disaccharide No wonder he was so angry. Zacharia are the close that out. We have the last last quote from Dean at the end of the episode. He says screw Destiny right in the face. I say we take the fight to them to it our way. Ace Cheers.
